Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate

We are seeking a KTP Associate to lead the innovative Disease Modifying Drug Development project putting the latest academic research into practice. The aim of the KTP project is to optimise routes to patients of potential drugs being developed by Cure Parkinson’s. This role offers a springboard to a career in both industry and academia to postgraduates and postdocs in Medical or Biotech Development and related disciplines.

Chair of the Research Committee

The Cure Parkinson’s Research Committee (RC) is responsible for reviewing research proposals that are submitted on a quarterly basis. The RC is a committee of 10-12 academics and people with Parkinson’s who voluntarily meet four times per year to evaluate approximately 10 grant applications per round. The main purpose of the RC Chair is to provide leadership to, and oversee management of the RC.

The Cure Parkinson’s research committee meets four times a year to assess the scientific quality of research applications received into the charity.
