The Research Team at Cure Parkinson’s is a group of ~10 individuals who are responsible for achieving the charity’s main objective of facilitating and funding research to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s. These activities include research grant management, public communication of new findings and research, and the convening of internal and external events where the Research Team engages with individuals within the Parkinson’s research and patient communities.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Head of Research Operations to manage the Research Team’s activities, from coordinating internal research team operations through to designing, setting up and hosting of major research events. As the charity moves into its 20th year, we are looking to develop our research events and to continue to increase the impact of our research funding.

The Head of Research Operations will work closely with the Director of Research, with the main responsibility of coordinating and delivering on the operational needs of the Research Team. They will also work closely with other Heads and Managers within Cure Parkinson’s (research, fundraising and communications) to understand and support the research needs of the broader charity as a whole. The Head of Research Operations will have opportunities to represent the Research Team internally and externally, including at international conferences.
