The study of diabetes data to inform future Parkinson’s clinical trials
Cure Parkinson’s is funding Dr Alastair Noyce at Queen Mary University, London to analyse real-world data to understand the relationship between Type 2 diabetes and Parkinson’s severity and progression. This data, from clinical trial participants, will help to inform clinical and biomarker outcomes for future clinical trials in this very important area of research.
Here Dr Noyce, the project lead, talks about this project and explains the background to this type of data analysis.
