Paws for Parkinson’s: April Dog Walking Challenge raises over £39k for Cure Parkinson’s
Over 130 supporters and their dogs got out in the spring sunshine to take part in our 2025 April Dog Walking Challenge!
For the past three years our supporters and their four-legged friends have ventured outdoors during the month of April to help fundraise for Cure Parkinson’s.
The goal? To walk 100km – or any distance they prefer – throughout April alongside their dog. This past month was no different, as our supporters once again created their fundraising pages, and headed outside in the spring sunshine to get their steps in.
After creating their fundraising page, participants joined the challenge’s Facebook group and received their welcome pack – most importantly including a free Cure Parkinson’s dog bandana!
This year over 800 members joined the Facebook group, where participants shared their progress, cheered each other on and of course, proudly posted pictures of their pet pooches wearing their Cure Parkinson’s bandanas.
Participants and their four-legged fundraisers got their steps in all over – from strolls in local parks, to walks on the beaches and across the idyllic countryside.
In total, our supporters raised over £39k! Thank you so much to everyone who took part, donated and supported this challenge.
We’re so proud of our dog walkers and hope you get to put your feet (and paws!) up for some well-deserved rest.
