A group of Cure Parkinson’s fundraisers set out on a 200 mile cycling challenge across Scotland.

On 4 September, 15 Cure Parkinson’s supporters (including three living with Parkinson’s) set off from Edinburgh on our four-day Celtic Challenge adventure to the Isle of Iona.

The challenge took the team past some of Scotland’s iconic landscapes including Loch Fyne and the Arrochar Alps mountains, with scheduled stops at Glasgow, Inveraray and Oban over the first three days. The final day saw the group hop on a ferry to the Isle of Mull where they cycled down to the south west tip of the island and, after a shorter ferry crossing, they reached their destination!

The cyclists were blessed with some glorious weather on their adventure and, despite most of the group not knowing each other before setting off, they all quickly became a team.
