The evening was hosted by supporter Joya Logan and the choir of Celestia Music,
The Hornsby House Chamber Choir performed Christmas carols such as ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ and ‘O come, all ye Faithful’.
While actors Robert Bathurst (Cold Feet, Downton Abbey) and Pandora Clifford (Victoria, Doctors) performed readings such as ‘Christmas Bells’ by Henry Longfellow, and ‘A Winter Reflection in the spirit of Jane Austen’.
Guests could enjoy some wine and mince pies before taking part in a raffle, with prizes including: a signed copy of Hugh Bonneville’s children’s book ‘Rory Sparkes and the Elephant in the Room’, a Patek Philippe purse, two pieces of artwork and a hamper.
The event raised over an incredible £13,000! Thank you to everyone who attended.
