Comedy for Cure evening raises over £9,200 for Cure Parkinson’s
On Wednesday 22 October, over £9,200 was raised at Comedy for Cure – a fundraising event that brought together a collection of powerhouse comedians, all to raise vital funds for a cure.
Taking place at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, one of our 2025 London Marathon runners Michelle Farr-Scott organised the event alongside comedian Olivia Lee, to raise funds for Cure Parkinson’s in an evening packed with comedy powerhouses.

The performers included: Romesh Ranganathan, Tom Davis, Dan Skinner, Laura Smyth, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Shazia Mirza and our patron Paul Mayhew-Archer.
Guests were also invited to enter our raffle, with prizes including: a poster of Spiderman signed by Tom Holland, a luxury wallet and a bottle of Mike Tindall’s gin and a bag of Cure Parkinson’s goodies, including a Chilly’s water bottle, an OddBalls bobble hat, a dog bandana and a Christmas bauble!

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event! Thanks to your generosity, you are helping to support the ground-breaking work of Cure Parkinson’s. All funds raised go towards our mission to find ways to slow, stop, or even reverse Parkinson’s.
