Will Cook

A former CEO of Cure Parkinson’s, Will continues to work in support of Helen Matthews (CEO) on our major clinical trial funding partnerships and contracts, as well as other legal and strategic opportunities, as our General Counsel.  He also serves as Chair of our Development Board, supporting individual philanthropy on a voluntary basis.

Will has been a supporter of the charity since its incorporation in 2005, and his involvement arose from its inception: he was Chair of the fundraising committee supporting his lifelong friend Tom Isaacs’ 4500 mile charity walk (Coastin’) in 2002-3 which resulted in the foundation of the charity. He was a partner at international law firms Simmons & Simmons and Marks & Clerk during his 30-year career as an intellectual property solicitor, and served as a Trustee and acting Chairman of Cure Parkinson’s in the period 2015-2018 as well as the charity’s CEO from 2018 until 2023.
