Special Update Meeting: The latest on cell replacement therapies for Parkinson’s – watch again

Cure Parkinson’s held a special patient-focused event on Thursday 15 May 2025, which offered a unique opportunity for participants to engage with researchers in this field.
Cure Parkinson’s supported the 2025 G-Force PD meeting, an international consortium dedicated to advancing cell replacement therapies for Parkinson’s. This global initiative brings together leading stem cell scientists to accelerate treatments that replace dopamine-producing nerve cells lost in Parkinson’s. Alongside this, Cure Parkinson’s hosted a free hybrid event to give participants the opportunity to hear directly from and ask questions to leading researchers in this field, including Professor Roger Barker from Cambridge University and Dr Agnete Kirkeby from Lund University.
The recordings for this event are now available.
