Nick Light

Nick Light started Fighting Fit Football, a community football team for people with young-onset Parkinson’s, with the aim of encouraging people with Parkinson’s to come together and exercise. The team was due to take part in the Cure Parkinson’s Cup in April 2020, but the pandemic meant the event had to be postponed. Despite this, Nick and the team had already raised over £1,000 for Cure Parkinson’s and are looking forward to taking part when the Cup is rescheduled.
