Josefine Rågård Christiansen
Josefine Rågård Christiansen is a fourth-year PhD student at the University of Copenhagen with a background in translational neuroscience research. Her work focuses on developing novel cell replacement therapies for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders, as well as on developing and utilising human pluripotent stem cell–derived disease models to study early disease mechanisms.
Josefine joined the Cure Parkinson’s Research Committee as an intern in January 2026.
