Dr David Breen

Dr Breen is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian.

He has diverse research interests including studying the link between sleep and neurodegeneration; studying genetic and environmental PD risk factors using large datasets; and identifying better treatments for neglected non-motor symptoms in PD.

He is a member of the Scottish Government National Advisory Committee for Neurological Conditions, Deputy Editor of npj Parkinson’s disease, member of the Association of British Neurologists Quality Committee, and Neurology Lead for the Year 4 Undergraduate Medical Programme.
