Dr Susan Learned

Dr. Susan Learned, M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D., is the President and Founder of Learned Consulting Group, LLC, which provides overall R&D, clinical pharmacology and medicines development strategic and execution support to pharmaceutical companies. She is also currently Chief Scientific Officer and Head of R&D for 2 biotechnology companies and is Chief Development and Medical Officer for a third. She supports other clients as a Scientific Advisory Board member, Data Safety Monitoring Board member or as a Scientific Advisor to the Board of Directors or managing equity organisation(s).

Susan has over 25 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry spanning all phases of drug discovery and development. She has managed large, global multidisciplinary drug discovery and development organisations, leading the design of innovative clinical trials to make efficient business decisions, implementing biomarkers and translational medicine tools across therapeutic areas.
