Research Committee Intern

Dr James Conway

Dr James Conway is a Research Fellow at the UK Dementia Research Institute at University College London (UCL), where he researches the connection between the gut and brain in Parkinson’s disease. James comes from a Parkinson’s research background, having started his career at the University of Bristol, researching GDNF before characterising new Parkinson’s disease models for his PhD work at the University of Plymouth.

James is excited to be involved with the Cure Parkinson’s research committee and bring his preclinical research experience to the table. He is also looking forward to working with a team of experts from different disciplines to support research that could change the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s.
