As a Cure Parkinson’s advocate, you will play a key role in the activities that drive our mission to find a cure for Parkinson’s.

Your lived experience, insights and perspectives are vital in helping us understand what truly matters to people affected by Parkinson’s and ensure our work has a meaningful impact to bring us closer to a cure.

As an advocate, you’ll use your personal story to inspire and connect with others, helping to raise awareness of Parkinson’s and support our mission to find a cure.

What you might do as an Advocate

  • Share your story. Write or record your personal experiences for platforms like Cure Insight magazine, newsletters, our website, blogs, or social media.
  • Speak at events. With your agreement, you might share your story at fundraising events, research meetings, webinars, or staff education sessions.
  • Represent Cure Parkinson’s. Help highlight the impact of Parkinson’s while encouraging others to get involved – whether by joining clinical trials, supporting our work, or helping with fundraising.
  • Work with our team. Work with our team to ensure our work includes the voices of those affected by Parkinson’s.
