Fundraise in your community
The Christmas period is a great time to gather your community together. These are some of our favourite ways to get involved and celebrate the season:
Add buckets and QR codes to outside nativity plays and Christmas fayres! This is an easy way to contribute to our goal to find a cure for Parkinson’s at events that you are already holding. You could also sell post-show treats and drinks! Just get in touch to request one of our collection buckets. Make sure to check with your local council on their guidelines first!
Attend a Carol Concert: Get in the Christmas spirit by attending a carol concert in aid of Cure Parkinson’s hosted by one of our amazing fundraisers, Joya. Or, you could take inspiration, gather a choir and host your own!
Bake your favourite Christmas treats: Consider a Christmas bake sale in the playground! Add our Cure Parkinson’s donation tins to the desk to collect petty cash from the change given – take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves!
Sell Christmas cards throughout November and December: Why not have a go at making and selling your own Christmas cards? Take inspiration from Tall Chin and their amazing designs or head over to our Christmas shop to see our beautiful range of Christmas cards!
Ready to start planning your event? Don’t forget to tell us all about it!
By telling us about your event, you’ll be making sure you get all the support we can offer and importantly we can say a huge thank you for choosing to fundraise for Cure Parkinson’s.
