Our easy Christmas-themed fundraising ideas include fun and quirky ways to raise money for Cure Parkinson’s and can be done online, at home, with family and friends, in parishes or schools, or on your own!
Arts and Crafts. Unleash your inner artist! Host your very own Santa’s workshop to create handmade Christmas decorations or festive artwork.
Bake sale. Warm up hearts (and bellies!) with a festive bake sale! From gingerbread to mince pies, it’s time to show off your skills and sell your favourite Christmas treats.
Carolling. Spread some Christmas cheer by gathering a choir and singing carols around the town with Cure Parkinson’s collection buckets. You could even host your own carol concert, or attend one organised by Cure Parkinson’s supporter Joya.
Decorating Competitions. Let your creativity take over by decorating cakes, cookies, doors or desks – whatever you like! Charge a small participation fee and appoint a judge to crown the best designer.
Elf Services! Offer your time to help with odd jobs such as gift-wrapping, decorating, cleaning or holiday shopping in exchange for small donations. It’s a great way to help out those around us while raising money for a good cause!
Fayre. Host a Christmas fayre at your school, community group or workplace to celebrate the season. Think raffles, tombolas, games and Christmas-themed activities such as pin the nose on Rudolf!
Gift-Wrapping Station. Grab your ribbon and set up a gift-wrapping stall in your local shopping centre or high street! Wrap presents in exchange for donations and offer a helping hand to busy shoppers.
Hot Chocolate Stand. Warm up the chilly crowds outside Christmas plays and events with a pop-up hot chocolate stand! Take a donation for each cup sold.
International Celebrations. The festive season isn’t just limited to Christmas! Host an event to showcase different holiday traditions, with stalls dedicated to various cultural celebrations such as Hanukkah or Bodhi Day!
Jumper Day. Hold a competition for the most outrageous Christmas jumper. The bolder, the better!
Knitting. There are many ways to knit your way to donations! Sell your handmade winter wools or even hold a sponsored knit-a-thon.
Last Hour’s Pay. As an act of generosity, encourage your workplace to donate their last hour’s pay before the holiday break. It’s a gesture that can make a huge impact and spreads the Christmas spirit.
Meet Santa. Set up a Santa meet and greet and give kids (and adults!) the chance to share their Christmas wish lists!

Raffle. A popular choice for all events. Why not approach local businesses to see if they can donate a festive raffle prize? Make sure after your event to let your donors and sponsors know how much their kindness helped to raise.

Talent Show. Host a holiday talent show at your social group or school and let participants showcase their festive skills. The audience can vote with their donations!
(Non) Uniform day. Leave your uniform or suit in your wardrobe for the day and don your best Christmas outfits at your school or workplace!
Vintage sale. Spread some sustainable Christmas cheer by hosting a vintage sale. Sell pre-loved treasures and decorations to raise funds whilst keeping waste down.
