Whether you’re new to endurance events or are a seasoned marathon runner looking to take on your first ultra, the Ultra Challenge Series has something for everyone.
You’ll join people of all ages and experiences on beautiful coasts and iconic trails. It will be rewarding, fun, and absolutely achievable with your resolve and determination alongside our first class support.
Take part as an individual, or get a team together. There will be plenty of support on the day, with rest stops, hot meals and medical support. With the 100km route, you can choose to take this on over 2 days, with a nights camping.

Isle of Wight Challenge | 4-5 May
Great challenges need great settings – and none are better than the Island’s coastal path. 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight – and go all out to push themselves further.
Jurassic Coast Weekend | 18-19 May
Join 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages and Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site.
London2Brighton Challenge | 25-26 May
2,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages will take on a classic capital to coast route, testing their grit over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Lake District Challenge | 8-9 June
Walk, Jog, or Run the Lake District Challenge and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace.
Cotswold Way Challenge | 22 – 23 June
The magical Cotswold Way provides a stunning setting for a testing challenge – with some fantastic views en route and tough hills in between!
Peak District Challenge | 6 – 7 July
Our base-camp hub in idyllic Bakewell will welcome over 2,500 adventurers who will test themselves in the fabulous Peak District National Park.
South West Coast 2 Coast Challenge | 3 August
Take on the new Yorkshire Challenge in the beautiful Nidderdale area, on the south east edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
South Coast Challenge | 7 – 8 September
The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2000 adventurers to take on a real challenge.
Thames Path Challenge | 14 – 15 September
England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge.
Thames Bridges Trek | 14 September
Join over 2000 walkers & hikers as we trek across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline, and historic landmarks, from its best vantage points.
Chiltern 50 Challenge | 28 September
This end of season 50 km looped route covers some of the best of the Chilterns countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and fantastic views.
Costs and fundraising
Each challenge has 3 options for you to choose from with different costs and fundraising targets associated with each event and distance you choose. Once you’ve picked the event for you, click on the link to get all the details from the Ultra Challenge website including that events specific cost and fundraising options – with so many options to choose from there will be one to suit you!
Option 1 – Self funding
Pay for your place, no fundraising target just raise as much as you can for Cure Parkinson’s.
Option 2 – Sponsorship for charity
Pay a small registration fee and fundraise for Cure Parkinson’s.
Option 3 – Mixed funding for charity
Pay half of your place and fundraise a smaller target for Cure Parkinson’s.
What to expect at your event
