The Events Fundraising Executive will play an important part in Cure Parkinson’s continued ambitious growth. Joining us at a pivotal time, we can offer a self-motivated and enthusiastic fundraiser the opportunity to develop and make their own mark as part of this innovative and dynamic charity.

Leading on some of the charity’s challenge and special events, you will plan and deliver a range of exciting campaigns to maximise income and increase the number of supporters.

You will deliver excellent stewardship to individuals, fundraising groups and high-net worth committees that are organising or taking part in an event to raise money for Cure Parkinson’s. You will work with colleagues to ensure marketing and sponsorship opportunities are optimised and work with the Head of Public Fundraising to improve fundraising processes.

With excellent communication skills, this role will suit a outgoing, positive professional who is used to working on their own initiative and wants to develop their fundraising knowledge and experience.

The Events Fundraising Executive will report to the Head of Public Fundraising and work within the Events and Community team alongside our Senior Events Fundraising Officer.

Cure Parkinson’s was set up in 2005 by four people living with Parkinson’s.

In 15 years, the charity they started has made significant progress in the quest for a cure. We have funded millions of pounds of research, made scientific discoveries, and opened new avenues of research. We have made enormous strides in involving people with Parkinson’s in research and given hope to many with the condition. Our innovative approach, which has led to collaborations with the world’s leading researchers and their inspirational work, combined with the active support of thousands of people living with Parkinson’s around the world, is bringing us closer to a cure for Parkinson’s.
