248 supporters and their pet pooches took part in our 2026 April Dog Walking Challenge!
For the fourth year in a row, April saw the return of our Dog Walking Challenge – where our supporters walked 100km – or any distance they preferred throughout April alongside their dog to raise funds for Cure Parkinson’s.
After creating their fundraising page, participants joined the challenge’s Facebook group and received their welcome pack, including the most important accessory, a free Cure Parkinson’s dog bandana!
Supporters joined the Facebook group, where participants shared their progress, cheered each other on and shared photos and videos of their pets sporting their Cure Parkinson’s bandanas.
Whether they were hiking up mountains, taking strolls on the beach or walking through woodlands, participants and their four-legged fundraisers racked up steps everywhere.
In total, our supporters raised over £27,000! Thank you so much to everyone who took part, donated and supported this challenge.
A big thank you to all our walkers! We hope you get to put your feet (and paws!) up for some well-deserved rest.
