Cure Parkinson’s would like to say a huge thank you to the inspirational Robert Barnes- known as ‘Barnesy’ by those closest to him- who has taken the time to write his first book ‘An Englishman Recalls: Memoirs of Robert Barnes’. In these heartwarming memoirs, Robert recalls several significant events throughout his life, including his adventures as a young man, his business achievements and his overseas activities- definitely a worthwhile read!

Not only has Robert funded the production of the book himself, but he has kindly decided to donate all of the proceeds raised by the book to Cure Parkinson’s. Robert said:

At the age of 75 I have written a book spanning the years about events in my life, to dedicate to my 7 children and 13 grandchildren. I wanted all proceeds from this book to go to Cure Parkinson’s because I hope a cure can be found.
