Where There's Hope There's Fire...
Parkinson’s disease affects every part of a person: mind, body and soul - but one medicine treats all three better than any other.
The medicine of which I am speaking is “Hope”. Hope ignites a fire in the soul and rekindles the dying embers of ambition and purpose. When you accept there is the chance no matter how small, that you are not doomed to a life borne out of your own nightmares, then you start to gather information and you start concentrating on what you can do, not what you can’t.
You start to involve yourself in your own Parkinson's disease to contribute, communicate and collaborate with others in pursuit of a better state of health for yourself.
It is this mentality which defines The Cure Parkinson’s Trust; it explains why we exist and our passion to achieve something tangible.
